Mercer Island Rowing Club
Mission
Mercer Island Rowing Club is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that cultivates a deeper connection to our environment and community by enabling individuals of all ages and abilities access to rowing.Â
Vision
To create a mainstay rowing organization, we are strategically and methodically rolling out our offerings. We have tentative approval of a rowing program in partnership with the City of Mercer Island and are currently evaluating options in Luther Burbank Park for 2026 until we can find a permanent home. Here is our current high level timeline of our implementation:
2024: (COMPLETE) Establish non-profit structure
2025: Outreach, planning, & fundraising
2026: Execute pilot program
2027: Launch youth program
2028: Grow youth program & launch adult program
2029: Grow youth & adult program
Who we are
Our board is comprised of dedicated islanders who want to provide access to the joy of rowing to our community.
