After a very successful program at Luther Burbank, we're thrilled to offer programming at Herzl-Ner Tamid Conservative Congregation this fall! Our goal is to make the sport accessible to Mercer Island residents and those in the greater Seattle area. We offer inclusive youth and adult programs that teach, collaboration, leadership and connection to the environment.
We had a fantastic summer with folks and here are some takeaways from our pilot program:
86% of participants were Mercer Island Residents
46% were youth and 54% were adults
Largest age group was middle school with 32% of participants
Age ranges were from 12-73
All youth camps were at capacity with waitlists
Based on a post camp survey:
91% would recommend this program to others
91% would be interested in continuing to row on MI, 70% were for recreational & 30% for competitive
For those who didn't want to continue to row, 60% mentioned lack of adequate facilities/equipment right now as the reason
