After a very successful program at Luther Burbank, we're thrilled to continue to offer programming at Herzl-Ner Tamid Conservative Congregation thru June 2027! Our goal is to make the sport accessible to Mercer Island residents and those in the greater Seattle area. We offer inclusive youth and adult programs that teach, collaboration, leadership and connection to the environment. MI Rowing strives to foster a safe and supportive space where all individuals regardless of their race, gender, background, or abilities, feel respected and included.
Because we are in our first year, attendance at fall regattas (rowing competitions) will be limited but we aim to organize friendly competitions with local programs. Our main focus this year will be to educate the next generation of rowers and coxswains, increase awareness of the sport, and to build community.
